36th Winter Championship Interlaghi 30 October to 1 November 2010

PRESS RELEASE October 31, 2010, (Lecco, Italy) — Bad weather and rain certainly did not stop the second day of the 36th Winter Championship Interlaghi - Credit Valtellina Trophy Sailing in Lecco. Even today the races have been three strong wind from the north, 8 knots early in the late morning and then strengthen up to 16-17 knots in the afternoon. This has allowed spectacular races in the Gulf, near the lakeside town, with the oppotunity for the public to follow the races from the town. The Melges 20 Out of Reach (Guido Miani, tactician Gabriele Benussi) "remains at the top" of the fleet . The fight is wide open, with four teams in eight points. Tomorrow, Monday, November 1st, concluding races in the morning and we expect a great battle. This evening the Club dinner meeting among all the participating teams.
