March 09 (Miami, FL) - Day two at Bacardi Miami Sailing Week (BMSW) was as incredible as the first for the 40-strong Audi Melges 20 fleet. PRO Bruce Golison fired off four heats enabling Michael Kiss on Bacio to hang on to his overnight lead. Paul Reilly's Red Sky Sailing Team remains in second. After a challenging day on the water, Marcus Eagan onCajun Underwriting finished the day in third.

Warm temps, sunny skies, moderate breeze and classic Biscayne Bay conditions set the stage for round two of heavy competition.

The biggest winner of the day was Luke Mueller aboard Vaya Con Dios as he propelled himself, along with crew Luke Lawrence and JP Del Solar Goldsmith to victory in Race One and Three. His impressive performance catapulted him from ninth overall to fifth. Gold Cup Champion Alessandro Rombelli on STIG rallied against the fleet to win Race Two, just ahead of fellow Italian countryman Renato Vallivero on Turnover. The last race of the day went to Kiss.

Saturday will be the last day of racing in Miami. The breeze is expected to be even lighter, in the 6-8 knot range. One more race is scheduled.
