The sun set over Lake Eustis after day two of Zenda University where 18 participants gathered in the club house to discuss the days events over a sizzling steak dinner - just another part of the celebrity treatment by the folks from Melges. Andy Burdick is back, along with Eric Hood, Jim Gluek and Ted Keller as instructors for the sixteenth consecutive Zenda Universtiy.

The day started off miserably wet with a breeze of 7 to 12 knots with dryer skies helping conditions an hour or so after lunch. All in all, a great day on the water and in the classroom with 10 races and 15 starts keeping everyone on their toes. Zenda University is simply the best, most intense training one can experience in the MC Scow. When you add in the excitement the 41st Annual MC Scow Midwinter Championship with an 80+ boat attendance, it just doesn't get any better in the sport of sailing. Boats have been arriving all day from New York, Ohio, Georgia, Connecticut, Iowa, Michigan, North Carolina and Wisconsin. It's just plain fun to see everyone so excited to renew friendships and extending greetings to new competitors alike after a long winter away. 80+ boats are expected here - the biggest gathering in years. We'll be reporting the daily action on Facebook to give you the most complete real time regatta coverage possible.
