No Wind, No Racing In Trapani Before Match Racing At Italian Melges 24 Championship

The total lack of wind in Trapani did not allow any race to be sailed on this second day of the Melges 24 Italian Championship, valid as fourth leg of the Audi tron Sailing Series (King of Salt) organised by B.Plan Sports&Events in cooperation with Melges Europe.
No change at the provisional ranking after yesterday's races with first place Maidollis (Fracassoli-Bianchi) followed by Altea (Racchelli-Bonini) at a 3-point-margin over Audi tron (Simoneschi-Benussi). Tomorrow and on Sunday teams will be competing a match race.
Tomorrow early afternoon, the first Round Robin matches (36 matches) will be taking place in the waters opposite the race village along the Lungomare Ammiraglio Staiti, results will be suitable for the team combinations for Sunday's races.
Final match race results, live commented on the peer and officiated by umpires on the water, will be converted on a minimum score base and considered as a normal race valid for the championship, scoring will have a double value and could not be discarded.
The Melges 24 Italian Championship, final event of the Trapani Sailing Series will be concluding on Sunday with the final price giving ceremony taking place at Race Village.
