Charlie grew up with sailing in his blood. “I remember coming to Zenda often when I was a youngster. It was always a thrill for me to be in the shop and see how the boats were built. I’ve always liked boat building, as much, if not more than sailing itself. Watching those old guys (I’m one now!) build those boats, seeing the quality, craftsmanship and pride that went into every step, made an impression on me that hasn’t yet faded.
