Coye Harrett
Coye Harrett, son of Melges Performance Sailboats Vice President Charlie Harrett is the newest edition to the Zenda team. Sailing has always been a part of Coye’s life. On the way home from the hospital, his parents stopped at the Grand Rapids Yacht Club to ‘christen’ him. At the ripe age of 3, he first started sailing with his father on the Melges MC Scow, Melges C Scow and iceboats. Pops (Chuck Harrett) was a well respected PRO and was quick to employ his talents for working the flags, horns and anchors. Coye always jumped at the chance to be with him.
The sailing community and high-level of competition is close to his heart. As the newest team member onsite in Zenda, he is excited to learn more about the sport he is so passionate about.
