North Sails Wins National C Scow Championship

The 2011 C Scow National Championship was held on Maxinkuckee Lake in Indiana. A great scow sailing lake with fantastic hosts. The C scow fleet loves to go to this area for the Nationals. The hospitality is incredible.

The racing this year was fantastic too as we saw many new sailors on the water with new North Sails. In particular was Jim Tewes from Big Cedar Lake, Wisconsin. Jim sailed a great regatta and was very fast with his I-1 Gold Mainsail. His first North Sail on the C scow. Nearly put him in first! He tied with long time North / Melges Customer Paul Reilly. Paul is also from Big Cedar Lake – they have a tough fleet. Both Paul and Jim worked on Andy Burdick and crew Chris Impens who won the regatta on the last day with a bullet in the final heat of the event. The top 3 all sported New North I-1 Gold Mainsails.
