In the meantime, one of the most exciting deliveries in a long while is fast approaching, five new MC Scows for the Culver Military Academy are in the final production stages. Our expert Buddy Melges will be personally handling this delivery late next week on Lake Maxinkuckee where Culver is located, in hopes of further encouraging this already stronger-than-strong MC fleet, ultimately getting youth sailors more involved.

And last, but not least, the MC Masters Regatta is also on the horizon, June 21-23, 2006 at the Delavan Yacht Club. Kicking things off is an opening of the doors at Melges, present for all participants. Everyone is invited to come see the new boats! Visit Zenda on Tuesday, June 20 at 2:30 p.m

Two-time MC Scow National Points Champion Jamie Kimball is the newest member of the Melges Performance Racing Team! In particular, Jamie will be assisting the MC fleet as plans are that he will be travelling the USA to promote, race and grow the MC Scow fleet.

Andy Burdick, Charlie Harrett, Harry Melges and Sam Rogers are also heavily involved with this wonderful class of boat and can be counted on for additional support in the parts and service arena. You name it, we got it... halyards, stays, blocks, sheets, pins, shackles, covers, floatation panels and much, much more! Melges Performance Sailboats has it for your MC Scow as we are eager to help you enjoy and take special care of your boat. Call Melges today at (262) 275-1110 or visit us online at MELGES.COM.

As one of the most active classes of sailboats in the USA, the 2006 MC Scow regatta schedule is full of incredible, fun events across the country. Melges Performance Sailboats has already been actively promoting the MC Scow at many of these regattas during the spring and early summer. In fact, one of the next big events is the I.L.Y.A. MC Scow Invitational at Lake Mendota Yacht Club where Melges will be out in full force!

There are a number of other events planned that will lead us right up to the 2006 National Championship on October 26-29 at Lake Norman Yacht Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. To roll this event in right, Melges will be holding a championship edition of Zenda University just prior! A release will be made shortly so stay tuned to MCSCOW.ORG and MELGES.COM as there will only be room for 20 boats! That's right only 20 boats will be able to participate so standby for more information as this will be forthcoming shortly.
